At the heart of the Bronson health care system
is Bronson Methodist Hospital at 601 John St. in downtown Kalamazoo.
An important part of health care delivery for southwest Michigan,
Bronson has been providing inpatient and outpatient care from
a central location in downtown Kalamazoo for 100 years. The
hospital has a rich heritage, but we've never been satisfied
to rest on our laurels. Our commitment to building better health
in Kalamazoo and the surrounding region remains strong, and
is currently represented by the $181 million redevelopment of
our hospital campus
A regional health care leader, Bronson Methodist Hospital is
a 343-bed referral center for nine counties in southwest Michigan
and northern Indiana. In fact, 40 percent of the patients who
receive care at Bronson come from outside Kalamazoo County.
Most of the patients who seek care at Bronson are referred by
their physician for advanced care or specialty treatment.
